LIFEcogeneration.PL project successfully completed
We are proud and happy to announce that on 30 September 2018, after 5 years and 3 months, INVESTEKO S.A. has successfully completed the LIFEcogeneration.pl project co-financed by the European Commission and the National Fund for Environmental Protection. The overall goal of the project was to design and build the first, complete, prototype installation for the energy management of the over-sieve fraction of municipal waste and sewage sludge using the gasification process and a highly efficient cogeneration unit. All activities connected with the European Commission were carried out in accordance with the schedule. The technology developed and validated by INVESTEKO S.A. under national and EU regulations is currently an interesting alternative to solving the problem of burning landfills, and at the same time is a source of effective recovery of renewable energy from waste. In addition, the company continues to prepare for the implementation of LIFETEC technology on an industrial scale in accordance with the acceptance of the commercial investment provided in the Provincial Waste Management Plan adopted by the Silesian Voivodship Council for 2016-2022. The final financial settlement will be submitted to the European Commission within 6 months from the date of project completion.
