CATI survey for LIFEcogeneration project

Recently, in the framework of Life Cogeneration project was conducted CATI survey. The results obtained during the survey will be shared successively on our Facebook website. Discussion in Nowy Sącz

On the 17th of November 2015 in the Beskid Hotel, in Nowy Sacz was organized a debate concerning the use of innovative technologies for the management of the calorific fraction of municipal waste and sewage sludge. The debate was attended by 28 guests. Among the participants were the representatives of local authorities, waste management centers, local business enterprises, representatives of the energy sector, companies involved in waste management and representatives of the scientific community of the province of Małopolska.

LIFEcogeneration.pl team visits United Kingdom

LIFEcogeneration.pl team visits United Kingdom! 23-25 November 2015 we had a chance to discover absolutely outstanding LIFE+ environment project called ACUMEN (LIFE11 ENV/UK/000402). The goal of the ACUMEN project was to demonstrate approaches to reducing methane emissions from closed landfills. At Strumpshaw, Norfolk County we were shown sensational Stirling engines and biofilters. Than we visited one of Norfolk County's material recovery facility and met County's landfill and MRF managers.

The finale of the visit was to sign the declaration of cooperation between Investeko SA and The Environment Agency in providing mutual support in the implementation of our environment projects. ACUMEN is a partnership project between the Environment Agency, Norfolk County Council, Ground-Gas Solutions, Biogas Technology Ltd, the UK Department of Energy and Climate Change, the UK Department for Environment Food and Rural Affairs and Warsaw University of Technology. 30 November 2015 - debate at the Polonia Hotel in Biała Podlaska

On the 30th of November 2015 in the Polonia Hotel, Biała Podlaska was organized a debate concerning the use of innovative technologies for the management of the calorific fraction of municipal waste and sewage sludge. The debate was attended by 28 guests. Among the participants were the representatives of local authorities, waste management centers, local business enterprises, representatives of the energy sector, companies involved in waste management and representatives of the scientific community of the province of Lubelskie.

Fair ROMEXPO 14-17 October, Bucharest, Romania

On 14-17 October 2015. Life Cogeneration project team with INVESTEKO, presented modern technology the use of waste, at the International Fair Romexpo (www.romexpo.ro) in Bucharest, Romania. During the 4-day fair were presented various technologies mainly using alternative energy sources such as solar, geothermal and wind. However, only our proposal was set to resolve another important problemu- the potential calorific waste and reducing their landfill. This alternative to obtain electricity and heat, met with great interest of visitors fairs and the exhibitors themselves.

Control of Life Cogeneration Project

On the 8th of October was a control of Cogeneration Project Life. During the visit the person controlling, Mr Dariusz Kobus, analyzed in the company's headquarters INVESTEKO progress of the project, the work of the project team, achieved goals and tasks that await us in the near future. In addition, audit covered the investment destination in Świętochłowice. We are pleased to share the information that the preliminary assessment by the inspection is positive, which means that the project is implemented in accordance with the objectives and guidelines. The results of midterm report LIFEcogeneration.pl

Latest information from midterm report of the LIFE cogeneration.pl- European Commission approved the measures implemented so far in the project, which means that tasks are executed in accordance with the objectives and management of the project promotes the effective implementation of the project. Puls Biznesu with another interview with Life Cogeneration

Interview with Arkadiusz Primus, president of Investeko SA, a company coordinating the project life Cogeneration PL appeared once again in the "Puls Biznesu" the most important Polish business newspaper. Talks focused mainly on the situation of local governments in the context of the upcoming landfill ban have fuel properties. The publication can be read in the "Media about us".
